Abstract:

ABSTRACT: Or, one Christian's journey of computer science. Matthew Dickerson will share his path through undergraduate and then graduate study to a successful research and teaching career in computer science, with side journeys involving several published books (include works of fiction, biography, and apologetics), national renown as a Tolkien scholar, radio airplay as blues musician, and numerous opportunities to glance backward and see God's hand at work in surprising ways.
