Hinge Axes Single degree-of-freedom hinge axes were used to model elbow flexion-extension, forearm pronation-supination, wrist flexion-extension and wrist radio-ulnar deviation.  The position and orientation of the axes were derived from the surface geometry of the articulating surfaces.
