Wireless and Microwave Instructional Laboratory
Laboratory #5 Notes
The purpose of this laboratory exercise is to introduce you to the
following:
1. A design of Lumped Element Lowpass Filters.
2. Using Simulation Tools (Mathcad, ADS) to show expected
results.
3. The ability to compare measured results to simulation results and
explain differences from wireless circuit theory.
4. Soldering Techniques.
For this exercise you will need to turn in the following items:
1. One-Half to One Page Summmary
2. Discussion of Results
3. Printouts and Tables as Given at the end of the Laboratory Write-Up
4. Laboratory Write-Up
