Laboratory #1 Notes

The purpose of this laboratory exercise is to introduce you to the following:
1. Single and Simultaneous Signal Measurements using the Spectrum Analyzer and Oscilloscope.
2. Downconversion and Resolution Bandwidth in Spectrum Analyzer Measurements.
3. Interaction between Measurements and Mathematical Software Analysis using Mathcad.
4. Power measurements and Power-Voltage Interaction.

For this exercise you will need to turn in the following items:
1. One-half to One Page Summary
2. Worksheets Containing Results and Comments
3. Mathcad File for Part V (Sum of Two Sinusoidal Signals)
4. Hard Copy of Oscilloscope Graph (optional)(Part V)

Please Note: If you want extra credit for performing optional sections, please make a note of this on your one-page post-laboratory report.
